Mattia Baiutti is research and school training coordinator Fondazione Intercultura (no profit organisation) in Italy.. His interests focus on intercultural and international education, including the internationalisation of school education, pupil mobility, global citizenship education, intercultural competence and its assessment. Mattia published two books and several articles on these topics in Italian and international academic journals; he designed and delivered training courses for pre-service and in-service teachers, principals, professionals and volunteers. He worked as a consultant for the OECD PISA (Global competence assessment) and the Council of Europe (Competence for Democratic Culture) and participated in several international/European projects.
